Tenants at Richmond Court Have a Slice of Fun

Tenants and staff at Richmond Court in Shropshire recently came together for a fun and engaging pizza-making activity, filled with creativity, teamwork, and plenty of laughter.

Kiran and Ben joined staff members Carl and Matt for a hands-on session where they made their own pizzas from scratch. From preparing fresh dough to chopping a variety of toppings – including peppers, sweetcorn, cheese, onions, and pepperoni – the group enjoyed every step of the process.

The activity also encouraged creativity beyond the kitchen, as tenants designed and decorated their own pizza boxes. Each design reflected their unique personalities, adding a personal touch to the day.

Andrew Rawlings, the home’s manager, said, “It is really important that our tenants get to enjoy a whole host of activities that bring them together. It was a great way for them to learn new cooking skills and build on existing ones, but most importantly, to have fun.

“They were also very creative in their box designs, which represented their personalities perfectly.”

Richmond Court’s varied life enrichment programme continues to keep residents active and engaged, offering a choice of meaningful physical, mental, and social activities tailored to individual interests and abilities.
