SALISBURY HOUSE PROVIDING THE HIGHEST QUALITY CARE

Kisimul’s recently-opened new service at Salisbury House is a six-bedroom property providing the highest quality care for four young adults who have a diagnosis of learning disabilities, autism and can display behaviours of concern.

Everyone at the home has the opportunity to enjoy the countryside nearby, as well as having access to a range of person-centred activities. These include trampoline parks, leisure centres, horse-riding, museums and libraries, all of which are ‘autism friendly’.

An in-house therapeutic team, including Speech and Language Therapists, also offers the people we support access to sessions and activities within the home ranging from music therapy, aromatherapy and messy/sensory play to sporting activities which are provided within our garden grounds.

Located in a peaceful rural setting, Salisbury House is within just a short 20-minute drive of Lincoln, Retford, Ollerton and Mansfield, and there are great public transport links which are easily accessible.

Luke Ward, manager of Salisbury House, said: “We have some amazing facilities within the home, which will not only align with the needs and requirements of our young people, but will also help them develop their life skills, enabling a route to greater independence in later life.”
