Resident Has a ‘Waffley Good Time’

One of our residents had a ‘waffley good time’ recently as she prepared a sumptuous waffle dinner for her fellow residents.

Sam, from Tigh Bruadair in Gainsborough, loves helping out and she got stuck in preparing the meal by cutting up the fruit, ‘bashing’ chocolate biscuits to sprinkle on them and cooking the waffles.

Sam prepared the meal, and of course sampled some of the ingredients along the way, ably assisted by staff member Maxine and the residents then enjoyed tucking into their dinner time treat.

Helping to prepare meals and snacks provides the residents with lifelong skills and promotes independence.
