It’s Official – We Are an ‘Outstanding’ Company to Work For

We have been rated an ‘outstanding’ company to work for in our latest Best Companies survey.

We surpassed our previous ‘one star very good’ company rating from 2023 with the ‘two star outstanding’ accolade after we undertook our 2026 employee survey in January.

The Best Companies survey used eight factors which contribute to an overall score to measure engagement and how employees are treated, and the result recognises us as an outstanding workplace with a strong focus on leadership, personal growth, wellbeing and giving something back.

907 employees completed the survey and we improved our scores in six of the eight areas surveyed.

The biggest improvement came in Leadership, which saw a 6% increase, with employees citing they had confidence in the skills of senior management and the organisation was operating on strong values and principles.

Other headline figures include:

  • 4% increase in personal growth was recorded as employees said the training received in their roles is of great benefit to them personally,
  • employee wellbeing increased by 4% as they stated the organisation cared about their personal wellbeing, and
  • another 4% increase in the environment was recorded as employees felt we helped to protect the environment.

Chief Executive Officer, Anita Andrews, said, “We are obviously delighted to have received this rating and it is in recognition of all the hard work and effort everyone has put in over the past three years.

“We are a company that unashamedly puts the care and wellbeing of the people we support first and to do this you need an excellent workforce, which we have in abundance. We put a great deal of emphasis on making sure our employees are engaged, well trained and happy in their work, as they are our strongest asset and this culture helps us retain and attract the very best.

“We are very pleased with the results, but we won’t rest on our laurels as we know we still have areas to improve upon, which we will be focusing on over the coming months.”
