Lucy Whiting, Senior Registered Manager highly commended at Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care

Lucy Whiting, attended the prestigious Women Achieving Greatness in Social Care awards ceremony at the Hilton Bankside in London, where she was highly commended for the Social Care Superwoman Award (children and young people). Lucy said, “It was an incredible evening, celebrating not only my personal achievements, but also celebrating lots of other women within the sector that are doing amazing work in social care.”

The judges commented on Lucy’s dedication to her role; “With an emphasis on a person-centred approach, Lucy is a manager who keeps the wellbeing of her team at the top of her priorities. She has organised team charity challenges and team building exercises involving both staff and the young people they support. Effectively managing her professional life whilst also looking after two young boys at home, Lucy is an inspiration to those around her.”
