Residential Support Workers - full-time

Job title: Residential Support Worker

Description: Kisimul School is one of the leading Independent Residential Schools in the country for pupils with severe learning disabilities, challenging behaviour and Autism. We provide care and support to all our pupils and residents throughout the year on a 24 hour, 7 day a week rota. Therefore applicants must be caring people who enjoy team working.

Due to our expansion plans we are looking for some special individuals to join us as Full Time Residential Support Workers at one of our Lincolnshire sites or at our school in Surrey.

Hours are 38 a week on a rotating basis
Early Shift 7.30 a.m. to 2.30 p.m.
Late Shift 2.00 p.m. to 10.00 p.m.

You do not have to have experience to work for us, just the right attitude to work.

Teacher (Woodstock House) - full-time

Due to the expansion of the site, we require a highly motivated and passionate teacher to join our Education Team at Kisimul School, Woodstock House.

Reporting to the Head Teacher, you will be responsible for a small class of students and the staff.

Responsibilities include:

The successful candidate will have either a Degree in Education or Teaching qualification (QTS) and SEN qualification/training. You will have knowledge of the following: Provision appropriate for pupils with SLD and/or ASD, the National Curriculum requirements and the P-Scales/M-Levels and Statutory requirements of legislation concerning SEN Code of Practice, Safeguarding Children, Health & Safety, Equal Opportunities & Diversity

Experience of managing a staff group is essential. The successful candidate will be a team player, and have effective communication and organisational skills.

Night Senior Residential Support Worker - full-time

Woodstock House is looking for a Senior Night RSW to supervise and support staff to fulfil their role as Night RSWs, as well as being responsible for the emotional and physical well-being of the pupils at all times.

All applicants will have either obtained or be near to completion of an NVQ Level 3 in Health and Social Care for Children and Young People or a Diploma Level 3 in Children and Young People's Workforce (Social Care). All candidates will be enthusiatic and have a good working knowledge of Kisimul Standards.

Maintenance Operative - full-time

Woodstock House is looking to recruit a Maintenance Operative to join our current Facilities Team. You will help maintain the buildings bother internally and externally and ensure a safe environment around the premises at all times.

Applicants should have a flexible approach to work, be enthusiastic and physically fit; they should either have a trade background or associated buildings/maintenance experience within a similar site or organisation.
