Kisimul Schools exhibiting at the Autism Show on 24 and 25 June

We are very excited to announce that Kisimul Schools (including Cruckton Hall School) will be attending the Autism Show at the ExCel in London on 24 and 25 June 2011 as an exhibitor. We feel this is a great opportunity to meet with parents, social workers, Education Officers and other representatives from Local Authorities.

Whether you have already placed with us or whether you would like to meet us for the first time, have a chat with us and find out more about what we do, please come and visit us on our stand number D12. We would love to meet with you!

Christmas Fayre

Just like this year’s Summer Fayre, our Christmas Fayre has had a ‘makeover’ and promises better than ever before. We have chosen to host it on the 28th November from 2pm til 4pm. Due to the fact that the Swinderby Site is undergoing the construction of a new gymnasium the Fayre will be held at Acacia Hall. With Acacia’s new Indoor Play area and the picturesque ménage and animals we think it will be an ideal location.

There will be a strong Dickens’ Christmas Carol/ Victorian theme.We can announce a DJ from Lincs FM will open the Fayre. Many of the old favourite games and stalls remain but Santa will find a new home in a stable, next to our life size manger! There will be plenty of entertainment, Bassingham Choir singing carols, music and games galore.

Look out for our directors on the Human Fruit Machine stall – we have a feeling it will be a popular stall this year! There will be a fire engine to explore and mini cars to ride.

Refreshments will be available in the form of BBQ, cakes, and Mulled wine.In particular, the raffle will be given a big push this year as “The Friends of Kisimul School” continue attempt to purchase a Motor Home for all the pupils at Kisimul School and the young people in our Adult Unit’s to enjoy. Some of Kisimul School’s staff will be in fancy address – feel free to join in (there will be a prize for the best costume!) See you there!

Summer Fayre

This years Summer Fayre has had a dramatic revamp and promises to be big and better than ever before. It falls on July 4th American Independence Day and, therefore, has a strong American/Wild West flavour. Some of the old favourite games and stalls remain but you can look forward to a host of new American/Wild West themed attractions including a surf simulator, archery, saloon bar shootout, Wild West Horse racing ˜Wild West bouncy castle, cactus hoopla and plenty of entertainment. Refreshments will be available in the form of I-cycles traditional ice-cream, muffins, BBQ and popcorn, candy floss and cakes. In particular, the raffle will be given a big push this year as The Friends of Kisimul School attempt to purchase a Motor Home for all the pupils at Kisimul School and the young people in our Adult Units to enjoy. Some of Kisimul Schools staff will be in fancy address feel free to join in! See you there!
